It appears that the Pecatonica River will crest on Tuesday.   Further, Yellow Creek continues to threaten businesses in Freeport.  This problem should have been addressed after the Yellow Creek flooding in 2010.   Hopefully, the flooding will not be as bad as 2010.   It’s hard to understand why we allow people to build homes, and start or rebuild businesses in flood prone areas.   Of course, I guess that means most of the people living in coastal areas of the country should not be allowed to live there!
